About the Photographer

I am a Lancaster, PA, native offering professional photographic services capturing a wide range of special moments. I believe being a photographer is more than just having a spiffy camera, it is about capturing a fleeting spark in time, a moment you can never re-visit. My goal is to make every image I capture speak to you, to whisk you back to the very moment, even bring about a few tears. Life is made up of moments. I capture them.

I sure hope I can continue this luck with great wedding venues. Lime Spring Farm is the prettiest location for an outdoor wedding. The houses, gardens and barns offer so many awesome backdrops. I didn’t know where I wanted to start first. Thankfully, I will return in September for another go.

Congrats Emily and Dustin. Your wedding day was perfect, blue skies and big, white, puffy clouds, and a cool breeze. Thank you for having me capture it.

The weather was picture perfect at Riverdale yesterday. The best part of shooting this super-fun wedding is knowing a good portion of the guests. Wes gave the greatest best-man-speech ever! I also saw a few of my future brides; hi Kim and Gretchen, I am excited to be a part of your big days.

Alex and Zach, may your honeymoon be filled with awesome!

Out of the many places I have shot weddings, The Glasbern Inn has to be the most beautiful of them all. Even though it rained, we managed to keep the smiles and laughter going all day.

Lisa and Lewis E-Session

Posted on May 6, 2011

After so many days of rain, this one was more than welcome. The temperature was perfect, and sun was golden. I know Lewis from about 18 years ago when we both worked at Polo. We had a lot of fun wandering around Lancaster. I am very excited to get these two laughing again, on their big day. Thanks for a great session, Lisa and Lewis.

Sara, Ray, and one on the way.

Posted on May 5, 2011

My niece, Sara, is expecting a little girl in a few weeks. We needed some girls to keep our boys on their toes. It was a nice, soft, overcast morning when we got together for some nearing-the-end-of-pregnancy photos. With the main event happening soon, we needed to get on the ball with these great shots below. Congrats, Sara and Ray. Heather and I are proud of you both. I can hardly wait for the newborn session!

Pierson is five-months-old

Posted on December 19, 2010

We wanted to get some more photos of Pierson before he started cutting teeth. He was cracking us up with his huge smiles and little, squeaky laughs. It seems like a while ago he was born, yet time has flown by.
Enjoy!

Holy tom-foolery, Batman. Alison and Jason.

Posted on November 16, 2010

When I initially met this couple, I was, as usual, intent on making a genuine connection. Nothing could have prepared me for the amount of laughs we had on such a beautiful, fall afternoon. A couple after my own heart, indeed. Laugh often, laugh hard.
Enjoy!

I was looking forward to shooting someplace different. Mt. Gretna offered exactly what I needed. Gretchen and Andy were the stars today, for sure. I’m not sure of my favorite, maybe you can be the judge.

Enjoy.

Kim and Darren proved to be a super-fun couple, with laughs abound. We started early, 7:00AM on one of the first colder days we have had so far this year. Thanks for being real troopers, Kim and Darren.

Enjoy.

Fall is great for its beautiful, warm colors. This day could not have been more beautiful. The colors popped, the air was clean, and the mood was uplifting. If there was ever a perfect day for an outdoor wedding, this was it. Lancaster County Winery provided many great locations for great photos. Jen and Mike are clearly in love, and I enjoyed being a part of their commitment to each other in front of their closest family and friends.
Thanks, you two, for an awesome set of photos, for you made the moments. I simply captured them.

Life. Captured.
